Our Graduates!
Our Open Day
Prior celebrating the participants who successfully completed our 2025 MDT Documentary Impact Challenges, we held an open day and induction for our upcoming courses.
Kevin Augello, our English language instructor for The Hague area, gave a captivating master class to a full house on his intense journey to document a blind hiker's journey to conquer Mount Everest.
With 2 full courses running on Saturdays and Sundays for the next 7 weeks, we couldn't be more excited to see all the amazing stories our new participants will tell! 😍

Maatschappelijke Diensttijd (MDT) offers youth between the ages of 12 and 30 the opportunity to develop their talents over several weeks or months, have meaningful encounters with people outside their own social circles, and do something for others and/or society. For example, youth may organize local sports activities, provide language lessons to newcomers, or support lonely elderly people as buddies. MDT helps young people find their place in society and increases their social engagement.
What began with a few pilot projects has now grown into a powerful network. With over 2,000 official partners, many thousands of involved organizations, more than 250,000 participating youth, and another approximately 200,000 expected to join, MDT is making a real difference in society.
