There’s hardly a role that Kevin hasn’t undertaken - cameraman, editor, producer, director and executive producer. Having developed and pitched ideas to the likes of Netfllx and Apple TV: even a production with Arnold Schwarzenegger. giving him a rare, 360° perspective on the entire documentary process

His work has taken him to all seven continents, from capturing stories from the diamond trade to the history of Lego and filming a blind climber climbing Mount Everest. These experiences have allowed him to connect with people from different walks of life all over the globe.

This course brings together decades of real-world experience shaped into an engaging and practical learning journey.

Kevin has made several hundred films across more than 130 countries, working on everything from independent projects

Camera Techniques

Get hands-on with camera settings, framing, movement, and lens choices. You will learn how to shoot with intention and create sequences that support your story.

Interviews

Learn how to conduct interviews that feel natural and authentic.

Storytelling

Find strong ideas, structure them well, and learn to pitch your story effectively. Understand what makes a story memorable and how to make your audience care.

Lighting

Master the art of lighting to create atmosphere and visual depth. You will learn how to light interviews and scenes with cinematic quality - even on a budget.

Everything Audio

Sound is as important, if not more important, than the picture. In this workshop, Kevin takes you through the main types of mics we use when filming and how to use them.

Turn hours of footage into a cohesive, emotionally resonant documentary. You will learn the entire post-production process: selecting the best takes, editing, sound design, and colour correction using DaVinci Resolve.
